Shilpa Shetty calls Dimple Kapadia her ‘Bollywood Hair Crush’

Shilpa Shetty Kundra called Dimple Kapadia his “Bollywood hair cutie”.

Asked how she keeps looking so young at 46, she highlighted her use of natural products, India TV reported.

Shetty said, “Nutrition is very important. I have eight soaked almonds and walnuts a day.

“A good hair care routine, such as deep conditioning the hair frequently and making sure my scalp is clean and sweat-free, using an appropriate shampoo.”

When asked what hair she craves most in Bollywood, Shetty responded to Dimple Kapadia, who coincidentally shares a birthday together on June 8.

Her comments come shortly after she was announced as a brand ambassador for Godrej Consumer Products Ltd.

Known to be a yoga enthusiast, the Apne (2007) also explained how meditation helped her with her general well-being.

Shetty noted, “Time has proven that yoga is very beneficial for the skin and hair by improving blood circulation throughout the body.

“Some asanas like Shirshasan and other forward curved asanas strengthen the hair by activating the roots.

“Doing yoga gives your body a sense of calm, reduces stress, and brings hormones into a happy and healthier balance.

“When you’re happy on the inside, it shows on the outside, giving you a radiant glow. “

Meanwhile, Kapadia shared her own hair care tips in a recent interview with Vogue India, explaining her use of the oil.

She said: “I remember my hair was loaded with oil and tied into two tight braids with a side parting.

“It was a style required for school and my mother adhered to it religiously.

“The habit of oiling was prevalent throughout my childhood, and it helped me because I always had very dry, thick and coarse hair.

“Without the amount of professional styling I’ve had over the years, it wouldn’t look so shiny and shiny.”

Adding how much her greasing routine has since changed, the 64-year-old said:

“Oiling goes a long, long way.

“I oil my hair overnight, then have my head massaged with a homemade hair pack that’s a mixture of eggs, 5 whites and a whole egg, and a banana.

“I leave it on for 10 to 30 minutes, then wash it off with lukewarm water.”

Shilpa Shetty appears regularly as a judge on a variety of Indian talent shows, including Great dancer and Nach Baliye.
