The 26-year-old, who calls himself “maneiac,” says he completely shaved his head in 2017 and has spent the last four years growing his hair 20 inches long, which makes often stop people.

Pravna, who recently moved to Hull from India to study for her postgraduate degree, has now made it her mission to share her hair care tips with others and claims to have the guide to “perfect hair” on his Instagram page.

The aspiring model, a marketing and advertising student, says his hair is now “the longest it has ever been” and that he “absolutely adores” it, even though some people laughed at him.

He explained that he used to receive nasty comments about his locks, with people cruelly asking him if he “couldn’t afford” to have his hair cut, Hull Live reports.

Speaking about her hair, Pranav said, “I love my hair and I don’t do this to look good or anything. I like to take care of it.

“When I started cultivating it, I received rude comments. Back in India, it was not very normal to have long hair as a man, so they called me a girl.

“People would ask me if I couldn’t afford to have my hair cut.”

Pushing away her enemies, Pranav proudly shows off her hair on social media and vows not to wash it too often and to rule out hair products entirely to make it grow.

He claims the key to getting long locks like his in just a few years is not using any product – just shampoo and conditioner when he washes it.

However, he only washes his hair once a week.

“You don’t really need to wash your hair very often because your scalp has its own oil and that’s what helps hair growth,” Pranav said.

He revealed that he brushes his hair daily to keep it from tangling and that he oils it once or twice a week “depending on how dry it is.”

Adding that “patience is the key,” Pranav encouraged other hair lovers to “experiment and try different routines” to find what works for them.

He advised, “You have to dedicate time to it and take care of it.”
